Poldark is television series starring Aidan Turner as Poldark. The series was first aired on BBC One in the UK and is broadcast by PBS in America. It is based on two original Poldark novels written by Winston Graham which was later adapted by Debbie Horsfield. However, this is not to be confused with an earlier television series that aired back in the late 1970s. The show is about Ross Poldark who has returned to the UK after the American War of Independence in the late 18th century. Apparently, he had to spend three years in the military to avoid charges of smuggling. Though his homecoming is cut short when his father is found to be dead, and his estate is in shambles. Not to mention that this old sweetheart has been engaged to his cousin. He later finds out that his mines have been taken over by the greedy George Warlggan and proceeds to wrestle control away from him.

Watch Poldark Online Using the Official PBS App or Website
PBS does not have an official app yet, though their official website does allow people to stream shows like Poldark for free. However, it’s only free if you’re a subscriber to PBS via your local cable service. Alternatively, you can order it on DVD for $24.99 from PBS’ online store. If not then you’ll have to try streaming Poldark via a cord-cutting service like the one mentioned below.

AT&T TV NOW live streams hundreds of TV shows like the Walking Dead, Paranormal Witness, Ray Donovan, etc. However, since the service does not stream PBS as of right now, you will not be able to watch Poldark live. Though at $35 a month it’s still worth it to anyone looking for a cable alternative.

Sling TV is a cord-cutting service that also happens to stream dozens of networks live via a series of apps for Android and iOS devices amongst others. Unfortunately, the service does not stream PBS yet. That said at $20 a month its way cheaper than any cable service we know and certainly worth a shot for anyone who’s looking to cut the proverbial cord.
Streaming Poldark on Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon
Netflix does not have episodes of Poldark yet. We assume that they may not get it anytime soon either.
Hulu too has been deprived of this hit Anglo-American show for some reason. Though we’re hoping that episodes will be available soon.
Amazon Prime has all episodes and seasons of Poldark available for download. Though it’s steeply priced at $2.99 an episode with the complete season setting you back $19.99.

We assume that there are many illegal methods of downloading and watching Poldark for free. Though despite it being a British television show you still have to abide by international copyright law.
