WATCH: Hulu Releases Original Series ‘The Path’ Featurette

Hulu original ‘The Path’ might be the most eerily anticipated new original series announced this year.

The streaming service will be premiering the new series March 30th, but has given us another sneak peek with a brief featurette, which you can watch below:

‘The Path’ follows a growing cult and one family’s attempt and struggle to distance themselves from it, which of course doesn’t happen as easily as they might hope. ‘The Path’ follows a family at the center of a controversial cult as they struggle with relationships, faith and power. Each episode takes an in-depth look at the gravitational pull of belief and what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want.

Starring ‘Breaking Bad’s’ Aaron Paul alongside Michelle Monaghan and Hugh Dancy, ‘The Path’ is a big bet for a streaming service looking to make a name for themselves in the original content vertical. With a Golden Globe nomination earlier this year for their original series ‘Casual,’ Hulu CEO Mike Hopkins has commented that they’re still on the hunt for that ‘House of Cards’ moment. 

Will ‘The Path’ be the series that puts them over the top? We’ll certainly be watching closely come March 30th.
