The Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence is more commonly referred to as the Tony Award. The awards have been named after the co-founder of the American Theater Wing Tony Perry. The award mainly recognizes excellence of performers in Broadway theater presented by the Broadway League and the Theater Wing each year in New York City. Amazon Prime usually has the Tony Awards available for download a day or so after it is aired live. However, the service breaks the show down into segments with the opening segment costing $2.99, musical scores at $1.99, etc. So, you can download what tickles your fancy!
Other Methods of Streaming the Tony Awards Live Online
A few years back you can use Times Square simulcast, and all you needed was to find a good spot and enjoy the party. However, this year there is no plan for a simulcast, so you’ll need to spend $250 to join the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS live viewing party in New York City. If you’re not in New York City, there is no other legal way of live streaming the awards show unfortunately.
