CWSeed just got my attention very, very fast.
The online portal for CW, the network famous for shows like The Flash and Arrow, has released over 200 episodes of Whose Line is it Anyways online for free streaming.
That’s right, absolutely no cable subscriptions required, no monthly payment, nada. You’ll have to suffer through occasional advertisements (oh the horror!), but other than that? Stream Whose Line is it Anyways online almost in it’s entirety. The CWSeed.com website is saying they currently have 214 episodes available, including both the Drew Carey’s era through the first nine seasons, and the more modern episodes with host Aisha Tyler.
The CW is just the next television station to adopt a pretty liberal policy when it comes to streaming their content online, but they’re taking it a step forward by not requiring any sort of subscription, which is awfully nice. Likely due to the nature of CW being network television, The CW hasn’t offered any word as to whether or not their more recently popular series will be joining the digital catalog but this is certainly a welcome step in that growth.
For those less familiar with Whose Line, it’s an improv comedy show starring a rotating cast of comedians including Wayne Brady, Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie and others. The actors are given a random set of directions with limited explanation, often from the crowd, and then forced to act out the given scenario.
