Sling TV Partners With Outside Television

Sling TV is expanding their offering into outdoor television by adding the Outside Television network to their offering.

“Today, we added Outside Television to our $5-per-month Sports Extra pack! Now all of you adventure seekers who can’t get enough of the outdoors can watch the best ski, snowboard, surf, kayak, climbing, mountain biking, BASE jumping and adventure travel videos.

Outside Television joins the Sports Extra pack alongside The SEC Network, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, Univision Deportes, beIN Sports, and ESPN Goal Line/BuzzerBeater/ESPN Bases Loaded.”

For those of you that sit on your computers watching hours of random GoPro footage, this makes complete sense as digital video streaming of action sports is on the rise. Users spend millions of hours a year watching action sports videos every year, so it makes sense that Sling TV would partner with a channel dedicated to this type of content.

For those less familiar with Sling TV, the streaming service offers options to stream a large variety of television channels live, meaning users can view live sports and show premieres as they happen as opposed to the next day or in some cases months later.

Sling TV is in growth mode, with expansions into most major media segments.
