Amazon original ‘Mozart in the Jungle’ might not be pulling in massive audiences, but we’re willing to bet they’re growing steadily, especially following some Golden Globe wins. The series has been renewed for a third season, confirmed by Amazon this morning.

The series follows a young and vibrant conductor in New York making a name for himself in the surprisingly entertainment world of orchestra. The show features Rodrigo (Gael García Bernal) as the person in charge, and a young musician, Hailey (Lola Kirke) trying to make a name for herself professionally as well.

‘Mozart in the Jungle’ won both Best Actor and Best Original Series, Comedy at the Golden Globes, making Amazon’s streaming services one of the most decorated streaming services. Amazon also distributed original series ‘Transparent’ which has been a critical success as well. Most recently their series ‘Man in the High Castle’ became their most viewed show yet.

Amazon has big plans to invest heavily in original content both in 2016 and into the future as well. Their streaming service comes attached to an Amazon Prime subscription, among many other features.
