One of the biggest golf tournaments of the year, the 2017 PGA Championship is underway at Quail Hollow Club. The best golfers, or at least the ones who are healthy and surviving the earlier parts of the season, are here and hoping for a shot at a majors victory. With some amazing shots, and incredible match ups, there’s no doubt these rounds of golf should be some instant classics
If you’re looking to stream the PGA Championship online free, or in general just looking to watch golf online, there are some really easy, and 100% legal, ways to do it. Below you’ll find our official recommendations for doing so.
Stream TNT online with Sling TV or AT&T TV NOW
The first two days of action are being broadcast on the cable network TNT. If you don’t have cable, and aren’t interested in signing up for a cable package, there are two main services that allow you to stream TNT online. No contracts required on either service either, so you can try them both out risk-free.
First, is AT&T TV NOW, a streaming-only option available from, you guessed it, DIRECTV. Their streaming service gives you access to hundreds of channels, TNT being one of them, along with ESPN, TBS, CNN, and a bunch more. Their packages start at about $35 a month, but the good news here is, you can sign up for their free trial to enjoy the whole tournament.
Second, Sling TV, a subsidiary of DISH, is a great option, and offers more a la carte options for cord cutters. Basically, you can sign up for a handful of channels, only paying for what you want. They offer TNT as well, and you can also get access to other channels like NFL RedZone, ESPN and more. They also offer a one week free trial, get more info here:
Saturday and Sunday’s Rounds are Streaming on Paramount Plus
For Saturday and Sunday, if you’re looking to watch the CBS afternoon coverage on Saturday or Sunday, you can get full access through their streaming service Paramount Plus. They offer a free trial, so you can see if you like their service while enjoying the PGA Championship.
