Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’s wonderful use of color

For those of you not on board yet, we immediately recommend you drop everything and start watching the highly touted Netflix original Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Now before we continue at all with any commentary, just be warned, the below video from Vox does have a few spoilers. But culture editor Todd VanDerWerff outlines the show’s use of color and the themes parallel with a 1960s gimmick sitcom. Definitely worth a quick watch.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is now streaming its first season on Netflix with a second season in the works.
