Netflix Original Film ‘Beasts of No Nation’ Premieres This Friday – Here’s the Final Trailer

Netflix will be premiering its first major original film ‘Beasts of No Nation’ this Friday and they just released the final trailer for the film, which you can watch below:

While we always prefer to reserve judgement until after having seen an entire film, it’s hard to deny the immense potential of ‘Beasts’ with a trailer this powerful.

The film, based off of a novel of the same name, follows a young boy as he is recruited as a child soldier in Africa. Following the death of his father, the main character Agu is thrust violently into the forefront of conflict and war, of which he is both fearful and curious. Led by a fierce warlord (Idris Elba), the movie will follow the novel’s narrative following the young boy’s descent into the dark nature of his challenging young life.

Writer-director Cary Fukunaga of ‘True Detective’ fame was responsible for the overall look and feel of the film, as he worked to transcribe the novel into a film script.

Early reviews of the film have been extremely positive, citing the graphic yet realistic feel of the reality of Agu’s life, mixed with brilliant storytelling and emotional appeal that has left early viewership emotionally impacted.

‘Beasts of No Nation’ premieres this Friday, October 16th, 2015.
